With a long history of existence in art and mathematics the form composed of two intersecting circles creates what is called a Vesica Piscis, a symbol that unites the spiritual and material world.  In this graphic, titled the Eye in We, taken from a previous painting of the artist, the form becomes a modern symbol that finds meaning in dual bonds. It finds priority and victory in the movement of two people and not individual existence. Friendship, marriage, togetherness, mutual respect, consideration, love, like,  adoration, affection, team and other unions considered sacred in human society all find meaning in two circles that come to signify human bonds.
